A Reflection Is More Than A Face

Within my reflection I don't see me
Just the desperation to be free
A mute cry yearning to be heard
Though my quivering lips won't utter a word
I need to kindle the passion within my heart
I need a catalyst to ignite the spark
The spark of imagination never ending
A spark to mask the harsh reality descending
My passion vanished leaving a barren carcass
Of lost hopes and dreams consumed by darkness
